On your phone
Take it with you.
Today: install it from your browser
Hearth is a real installable app already. It gets a home-screen icon, opens without browser chrome, and keeps working offline — a draft you type on a train is encrypted on your device and syncs when you have signal again.
- iPhone / iPad: open app.usehearth.ink in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: open it in Chrome and tap Install — or Menu → Add to Home screen.
- Mac / Windows: Chrome and Edge show an Install icon in the address bar.
Soon: iPhone and Android apps
Native apps are being built — Face ID and fingerprint unlock, widgets, share-sheet capture, and exactly the same on-device encryption as the web. They are not in the App Store or on Google Play yet, and we would rather say so plainly than put up a badge that goes nowhere.
Want to know the day they open? Start a Hearth account and turn on “tell me when the apps land” in Settings → Companion. That is one email, once, with a one-click unsubscribe in it — and nothing else ever goes to your address without you asking for it.
