The short version: every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, you can cancel anytime, and any charge is fully refundable for 7 days — no reason required.
Free trial
Paid plans (Glow, Bonfire) begin with a 7-day free trial. You aren't charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel during the trial at no cost.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time — in the app under Settings → Plan, or from the link in any receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep your paid features until then. We don't prorate partial periods.
Refunds
If you're charged and change your mind, you're eligible for a full refund within 7 days of that charge — no reason required. Hearth is sold through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued by Dodo Payments to your original payment method.
To request a refund, either:
- email hello@usehearth.ink from your account address, or
- open the billing portal from Settings → Plan → Manage billing, or contact Dodo Payments at support@dodopayments.com, quoting the order reference from your receipt email.
Refunds go back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Statutory rights
Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law — including, for EU/UK customers, your statutory right of withdrawal. Where those rights are more generous than this policy, they prevail.
Store purchases
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those purchases are governed by the respective store's refund process; contact them directly.
